Jack Huber,
INS
Vice President, Chief Operations Officer jack@worldpointinc.com
Vital to the success of WorldPOINT is its technical expertise.
WorldPOINT's founder and first network administrator, Jack
Huber was the Technical Services Manager at InStar Corporation
in Washington state, prior to relocating to Buffalo,
New York. He was brought to western New York by a local
technology company for the purpose of implementing the ASP
model for the insurance industry. Jack had previously set
up this model at InStar Corp., experience essential in the
ASP's success. The desire for direct influence over the
business management of the ASP spurred Jack to enter into
negotiations with prominent insurance professionals to form
their own ASP, WorldPOINT.
Having been in the computer industry since 1981 in various
capacities, including company ownership, technical management,
and sales management, Jack has the ability to recognize
and hire the necessary additional expertise. During the
startup period Jack designed, constructed, and implemented
the fundamental ASP infrastructure for WorldPOINT.
Jack also has experience in
the insurance industry. While working for the Inter-
Insurance Exchange of AAA in Southern California, he passed the General Program of
Insurance (INS) exams sponsored by the Insurance Institute
of America. He has also worked in the life insurance
arena.
